Welcome to the Early Education Ministry at Heritage Community Church.  We take care of our “littlest” Heritage members - ages 6 weeks through Kindergarten.   Our ministry combines two primary efforts – the nursery and preschool departments.  And wow - it's an exciting place to be!

Thank you for taking the time to read about us.  We strive very hard to provide outstanding quality care for your child.  The Early Education Ministry has wonderful and caring volunteers, caregivers, room mothers, coordinators, and teachers who will shower your child with love while sharing the amazing love of Jesus.

We strive extra hard to keep our facilities sanitized, friendly, and safe.  When you bring your child to one of our rooms, he/she will be assigned a number and you will receive an identification bracelet with that number on it.  When you return to pick up your child, you are required to return that bracelet before your child can be released to you.  Additionally, in the upper left side of the sanctuary, there is a display screen.  If your assigned number appears, you are requested to return to the Early Education area.

We hope you will be 'pleased as punch' with the most special care your child will receive in the nursery and preschool classrooms at Heritage.  We look forward to meeting you.

• The Early Education Ministry is on the bottom floor of the Educational Building known as the EARLY EDUCATION STATION.  Nursery classrooms on one side we call NURSERY LANE and the preschool classrooms on the opposite side – we call PRESCHOOL PATH.

• We will always list our events in the church bulletin, so keep your eyes open!  Also, see the Events Calendar.  There is also a quarterly newsletter that is distributed with the partner schedules and upcoming events included.

Regular Events Sponsored through the Early Education Ministry:

• Annual Community Cookies – held in December of each year.  We visit a local nursing home and provide cookies, caroling, cards and Christmas joy.

• Annual Summer Day Camp – 2008 camp plans will be in the works very soon.  For children 3-7 years old.

• Free Family Movie Nights – held occasionally throughout the year.
