We’re less snowed under than we were...but we’re still digging out...
Hey HCC Family,
Just an update as to where we are on the Snow Recovery Fund.
As you know we launched an effort to recover losses sustained during the blizzards of this past winter. The idea is that if 600 of the 900 folks who attend HCC on any given Sunday would commit to $100 each over a 10 week period (that’s $10 per week), the need would melt away.
There have been some great testimonies about how God has provided for folks who thought they would not be able to contribute the extra $100. One such story is from our Children’s Ministry. A little guy has been saving coins for a couple years now. He intended to purchase some gaming station, but when he heard about the church need, he decided it was better to give than receive. He dumped $158.64 into the Snow Recovery Fund. Wow!
The campaign ends on July 4 – Independence Day. We have five Sundays left, and currently we have dug into the 60k pile of snow debt by $10,056.
Hope you can help dig out.
