Did you know there are countless women in this world, in the United States, in your community who have suffered at the hands of others. Statistically, one out of every four women has suffered abuse. While we realize we may not be able to change the statistic, we have a vision to change the future for the those who live in our community. REAL Grace for Women is a faith-based organization designed to guide women who have been wounded and abused along the path of healing. Our desire is to create a safe place where struggle and pain can be shared; a place where hope can be restored. Our hope is to help and aid women who have been wounded by abuse and other losses caused by broken trust, poor responses, betrayal and/or abandonment. In a confidential small group setting women will discover restoration through a 12-18 week facilitator-led journey.
Here at REAL Grace we understand what it means to be overwhelmed by needs and not have the capacity needed to respond to the desperation that surrounds us. But in Grace Groups, we see significant recovery taking place and are filled with hope.
"Building up one another in love" is a group process - group because people need others to confront and support them; process because healing takes time. People cannot grow in their relationship with God or their relationships with others when they are unable to reach out and accept support. This is another reason why surface-level counseling to "forgive and get on with your life" is not only ineffective, but damaging. The truth is that wounds occur in the context of relationship and trust is lost. For healing to occur something must happen to reverse that damage: trust in the context of relationships - the aim of a Grace Group.

Anyone wishing to be a participant of a group must first complete the registration application. All applications will be reviewed by REAL Grace for Women leaders and are subject to qualifying for participation. We will contact you after reviewing the application.
