Welcome to "Community Kids" Elementary Stop.

Welcome to HCC’s Elementary Stop for 1st-5th graders.   

The HCC Children’s Ministry is called “Community Kids” (CK).  We are a "community of children who love Jesus, ourselves and others.  There are 3 core areas of CK - Nursery, Pre-K and Elementary. It is our goal at HCC to teach your child about Jesus in a manner that is clear, understandable, and fun. 

WHAT IS THE ELEMENTARY PROGRAM ON SUNDAYS?
At 9 & 11am, the services kick-start with an interactive welcome.  Then, on the first weeks of the month, children go to "Motivation Rotation" classes with friends of the same grade.  Our program tailors to all styles of learners - so the kids rotate to various classrooms throughout the month while studying one major theme.  Our classes are taught by special teachers who love sharing Jesus with our children.  For the end set of our service, the children return to the CK Chapel for praise and worship.

We also offer a special 9am class called "Dept 56" which is a transitional class for our 5th and 6th graders.

On the last week of the month, we call it "Celebration Sunday."  Children remain in the CK Chapel for the duration of the service for Children's Church.  This is the day we celebrate all we've learned that month while bringing excitement and energy to the day.

POINTSMART - Our incentive store for our elementary children is called POINTSMART.  The children earn points all month long by attending, for punctuality, bringing their Bibles, memorizing the scripture of the month, bringing a friend, and participation.  POINTMART is open on the first Sunday of the month after the 9AM & 11AM services.  Parents must escort their children to the store.  Points are calculated from the month prior and summarized on a POINTSMART Tracking Card that the children pick up before entering the store.  POINTSMART is open from November - May for the 2011-12 CK year.

GAME CENTRAL - Our super-cool Game Room is open before and after the Sunday services.  This newly-renovated space is packed full with games such as basketball, Wii, Xbox, Playstation, Pool, Air Hockey, FuseBall and more!
