Welcome to the Ladies Ministries of Heritage Community Church.  We are an active part of our church and our community...and we'd like you to come and find out more about us...and even better, to join us.  We have something for everyone - for ladies of all ages.  We sponsor a monthly book club, a monthly ladies movie night, a morning out program for parents, various testimonial and visiting breakfasts, a mother-child annual banquet, weekend and day retreats, and our beautiful Ladies Annual tea...to name a few.   We would love to have you come, meet some new friends, and make a difference at our very next event.

Email addresses are important to us in Ministry because we can express a need online and ask for response in much less time than making phone calls.  So, if we do not have your email address, please send it to Joan Bowman.  We would like to have email addresses of all of the Ladies who attend Heritage.

An activity is planned at least every other month where recreation, fun, and fellowship is extended.  This includes bus trips, parties, ladies teas, retreats, banquets, seminars, luncheons, and special services.

• Blankets of Joy
  The mission of this project is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need, through the gifts of new, homemade, washable blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer blanket makers.  The size can be from newborn to 18 years of age, all colors and sizes but must be new with no fringes on edges.  If you crochet or make quilts, we would be happy to distribute them to those who are less fortunate at the moment.  They can be brought into the church office as usual.  For more information, contact Maria Wentz at 410-647-1156.

• Ladies Movie Night
  On the third Thursday of every month, we gather for a movie at 8041 Quarterfield Road.  Details in the church bulletin.  Limited seating so please contact Dora Parks at 410-672-6031 or Email to reserve a seat.
   

• SWAT (Special Women Around Town) Breakfast
  Join us quarterly for a very special on-the-go breakfast as we carpool and visit with others.  What a wonderful opportunity to reach out to our community.
   

• Ladies Annual Tea 
  The Ladies Annual Tea will be held in September 2007.  Watch for details in the coming months in your Heritage bulletin.  This is one of most anticipated events of the year.  Won't you consider hosting a table this year and invite some of your unchurched friends to join us?  It'll be an unforgettable night.
   

• Tea Lights   
  We will host a children's tea in the fall of 2007.  It will be a wonderful chance for moms and daughters to enjoy a special time together.  Watch for details in the near future.
